- This position is located in Savannah.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Seeking a scheduler with 3-5 years experience for various ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Scheduling from design through construction turnover.
- Construction related experience on varied capital construction projects including commercial buildings, transportation (rail, highway and airport), educational and utilities is required.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Primavera a must.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline is desirable. Ability to work with project and construction managers to develop target schedules, tracking project status including subcontractor schedules and interfacing with project architects and project owners.

PROJECT CONTROLS SPECIALIST
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience working with major projects
- Must be proficient with Primavera Expedition
- Minimum 3 - 5 years Project Control experience
- Serve as the Enterprise Project Management System (EPMS) Engineer on a major Atlanta area construction project
- Work with project engineers and contractors to develop a scope of work and individual job packages
- Ensure job packages are prepared to the level of detail required, including a proper breakdown of activities and correct estimates of manpower and resources.
- Help compile bid inquiry documents
- Review proposals and evaluate contractors planning personnel and ability to interface with project’s computer planning systems
- Ensure that updating is performed and reports are generated in a timely manner per planning procedures and changes are incorporated into the baseline schedulef
- Changes to manpower and material requirements should be continuously defined.
- Coordinates collection of project data
- Review contractor submittals and track submittals in project’s computer planning systems.

PROJECT ENGINEER
- Assist the Project Manager in a variety of engineering functions identified with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all phases of work on a major construction project.
- Included are owner and subcontractor relations, construction cost accounting and billing, procurement and expediting of contstruction materials; and related functions.
- In addition, may oversee the performance of one or more Office Engineers.
- When not assigned to a project, the incumbent will typically assist the ACI Estimating Department in bidding for new work opportunities.
- Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Reviews the construction contract at frequent intervals; alerting the Project Manager to any terms or conditions which have not been met and/or which could become a problem as work on the project continues.
- Attempts to resolves problems which can be corrected at this level.
- Assumes overall responsibility for shop drawings to include checking drawings for accuracy, transmissions of drawings to and from subcontractors, architects, superintendents, maintain logs of all drawings, custodial care, etc.
- Expedites delivery of show drawings when necessary to avoid delays in construction.
- Responds to Requests for Information (RFI) from owners and subcontractors.
- In turn, prepares RFIs for the project architect and/or structural engineer of record when necessary to clarify technical issues concerning the project.
- Ensures that information received in response to RFIs are routed to the applicable field superintendent.
- Assists in compiling as-built drawings, guarantees, warranties, service manuals, and other related documents for delivery to the owner’s designated Building Engineer.
- May prepare ACI’s 1-year warranty for inclusion in this package.
- May assist in preparing other close-out documents as assigned.
- Secondary Responsiblities Include:
- Assist the Project Manager in establishing the Master Construction Schedule; outlining the sequence of work to be performed and the time frame allowed for each construction segment.
- Reviews the CPM schedules and bar charts generated by the main office Estimating Department and recommends changes when warranted.
- May assist in project status presentations to owners, company managers, architects, engineers and other interested groups.
- Works with the Project Manager and Field Office Manager in correctly allocating job costs (materials and man-hours) according to the cost codes established for the project. Assists the Project Manager in the initial conversation from bid documents to the detailed job cost schedule.
- Prepares and/or oversees preparation of a number of reports dealing with the project such as Quantity Inputs, Show Drawings Logs and Job Status Reports as required by owners.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.

SCHEDULER
- EXPERIENCE:
- Experienced design and construction scheduler
- Project level scheduling from design through construction
- Experience with construction, road and bridge design
- Primavera required.
