City of Atlanta Public Safety Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia

OLH Inc. is a member of the Joint Venture selected to design and construct a new public safety headquarters for the City of Atlanta police and firefighters. The new downtown headquarters will enable the City to maintain effective and efficient inter-departmental communications and create a best-in-class public safety headquarters. The Headquarters will consist of an approximately 160,000 square foot, five story building. It is intended to be a LEED Silver project. A parking garage for City vehicles and personnel will also be constructed on the site. Construction costs are estimated at $45,000,000 and Design-Build efforts are expected to take 24 months.
Columbus State University Student Success and Leadership Building and Infrastructure Improvements, Columbus, Georgia

The project includes infrastructure improvements to support the existing campus with upgraded HVAC, building code and ADA improvements for four buildings. A 30,000 gross sq. ft. new building is adding dry labs, study rooms, seminar rooms and offices and is going to consolidate student services in one location. OLH Inc is providing cost estimating services from initial square foot cost estimate to the final construction estimate.
Northeast Georgia Health System, North Patient Tower, Gainesville, Georgia

Northeast Georgia Health System's North Patient Tower is going to be the centerpiece of its 10-year master expansion plan which includes a 446,000 sq. ft. patient tower on the north side of the Northeast Georgia Mecial Center. The $177 million building is being constructed behind the existing hospital's main campus in Gainesville. OLH Inc. is providing construction scheduling and construction management oversight reporting.
Conway High School Construction and Renovation, Conway, South Carolina

OLH Inc. is assisting the Construction Manager with developing the construction schedule. Additions to the existing facility include 35 new classrooms, 10 science lab areas, computer labs, multi-purpose facility, cafeteria expansion and numerous other support area renovations. Additions and renovations will help bring the school up to current district wide facility standards and allow for the future growth of student enrollment.
Hilton Columbia Convention Center Hotel, Columbia, South Carolina

OLH Inc. is providing the development and maintenance of the construction schedule for this project. OLH's schedulers are developing the schedule based upon architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical plans and specifications. OLH is also assisting in developing a detailed construction schedule of the concrete pours for all walls and fllors to accelerate the project. Upon completion, the Hilton is to feature 222 guestrooms including two Presidential Suites, 14 King Suites and four Junior Suites.
Alvin S Glenn Detention Center Additions & Renovations, Columbia, South Carolina

The new Alvin S. Glenn facility is approximately 100,000 sq. ft., including a nine unit detention facility with 250 inmate cells. The renovations to three existing guard towers, site improvements, utility relocation and improved security fencing were all a part of this project. OLH provided scheduling services for the completion of this project.
Strom Thurmond Federal Building, Columbia, South Carolina

The renovation project of the Strom Thurmond Building consisted of a complete replacement of the raised access floor and acoustic ceiling system, removal of all interior partitions, re-division of the entire open floor area based on the architectural design and all new interior finishes. OLH provided CPM scheduling services including the development and maintenance of the integrated resource and cost loaded construction schedule using Primavera P3.1. OLH schedulers developed the schedule based on architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical plans and specification.
Atlanta City Courts Facility, Atlanta, Georgia

OLH Inc. was a member of the Joint Venture in the construction of the six-story, 200,000 sq. ft. facility that was completed within the budget of $55 million. OLH Inc. provided Construction Management services on all phases of the project. OLH Inc. personnel supervised the Piping, Mechanical and Electrical (PM&E) installation and performed Engineering and Inspection services on all aspects of the project's construction. OLH Inc. was also responsible for scheduling, review of contractor schedules, procurement and receiving, and processing request for information and change orders. This project was awarded the 1st Place in the 2004 Build Georgia Awards' Design/Build category.
Jackson Heights Elementary School, Albany, Georgia

OLH Inc. provided development of the construction cost estimate during various phases of the architects design process. OLH also developed and coordinated all contract specification documents per AIA format and requirements. The new facility, which was built while the existing school continued to operate, was designed to accommodate 600 students. The core areas such as the kitchen, cafeteria and gymnasium were designed for 800 students. This design allowed for expansion in two directions while maintaining functional and acoustic separation. The facility is organized around a two-store Commons.
P.D. Jackson - Olin High School for the Visual Performing Arts, Birmingham, Alabama

This state-of-the-art facility accommodates 1800 students. The design of the 305,000 sq. ft. facility was broken off into three modules, or wings. Each wing was organized around a major aspect (Performing Arts, Academics and Athletics) of the school. OLH Inc. developed the construction cost estimate during various phases of the architects design process. OLH also developed and coordinated all contract specification documents per AIA format and requirements.
City of Columbia Convention Center, Columbia, South Carolina

The $55 million Convention Center project included the construction of a 2-story public assembly facility with adjacent surface parking for approximately 500 cars. The 142,000 sq. ft. center includes a 24,700 sq. ft. exhibit hall along with a 17,200 sq. ft. ball room and 15,145 sq. ft. meeting space. OLH Inc. provided scheduling services including development of the integrated construction schedules based on architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, utility relocation and landscape plans.
